You might want to leave a comment to let me know you've friended me.
Bring waffles, scrambled eggs and bacon. Oh, and make it extra extra extra crispy, wouldya?

I'm the woman from the first postcard.

Thank you for your concern, however I do have what many consider to be good health insurance. The problem is my first test results came back "inconclusive" and my insurance won't cover the second test until December. I work for the government and thought that by signing up for health insurance through them I would be covered for anything. Amazing how I thought that a government that can't protect its own citizens can protect its employees!

At this time I have accepted I will need to wait. I should find out just before Christmas and I hope that I can send in a card just like the last one!

Anyway, take care and thank you for your kind thoughts.

Best of luck to you.

Sending in that post card was, indeed, brave.
Being brave means doing something even though you're afraid.

My definition of bravery has changed this last week.

I cannot use words to describe what chaos a silly little postcard has caused. My phone wouldn't stop ringing. I just can't believe how many people saw it. I also was stunned to hear friends and loved ones accused me of lying. Why would anyone lie about something like that?

I'm not sure why, but for some reason I didn't think anyone would notice if the card was posted. I guess I was wrong.

But now I know that if I can survive all the horrible things people said to me just for revealing a secret, I will be strong enough to survive anything.

Ouch. I can't believe people close to you wouldn't believe you.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you - please let me know how the next test goes. :)
